About Gladius Global Advisors

Manny Abin brings over 15 years of institutional asset management experience to Gladius Global Advisors. Prior to joining Gladius, he served as Head of Global Institutional Sales at Catalyst Capital Advisors LLC and Rational Advisors, Inc., where he oversaw investment strategies across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America.

Before 2021, Mr. Abin was Managing Director of Institutional Wealth at Principal Global Investors, where he co-led the buildout of the firm’s institutional wealth asset management business. His career spans both the buy and sell sides of the industry. He began his career at Northern Trust Institutional and later worked in fixed income sales at Piper Jaffray, where he managed and serviced over 250 institutional clients representing a combined $350 billion in assets. In this role, he collaborated with traders to execute transactions in municipal bonds, mortgage-backed securities, corporates, agencies, and structured products.

Mr. Abin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Finance and Economics from St. Peter’s College. He is a graduate of the Wholesaler Development Program and the Bloomberg Education Program. He is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning Portuguese. Mr. Abin also holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 31 licenses.
